Or if you have lots of unwatched Sci-Fi, then your MYOC could be just watch Sci-Fi movies, or watch Star Trek shows, or watch TOS, etc. This guideline is mainly here so we don't subtract from participation in any of the other Challenges, and to encourage participants to focus on genres not already covered by a Challenge, but since everyone's "need to watch" list is different, and you're able to watch stuff that qualifies for one or more of the other Challenges during every other Challenge, you're free to narrow the focus of one of the broader "Official" Challenges.įor example Say you only collect horror, then you could make your Challenge to watch just horror films, or just horror TV shows, or just zombie films, etc. Please don't duplicate an existing "Official" DVD Talk Challenge. Please state your challenge theme and your challenge goal and rules (if any) at the top of your list(s) in the list thread so others can tell what you're doing. Sure, you can do your May MYOC in September if you want, but the list thread will only be stickied during May, so if you want anyone else to see what you're up to, please try to do it near those dates. The Challenge runs from May 1 through May 31. There are however a few guidelines which everyone should follow. Since you choose your own Challenge theme, you make the rules. Now's your chance to finally watch all the stuff that didn't fit, or that you just didn't get around to, during the other Challenges. May is just a couple of days away, so it's time, once again, to take a look at your dusty, unopened box sets, your unwatched stacks of Blu-rays, DVDs, HD-DVDs, LDs, VHS or Beta tapes, your DVR, your Netflix queue, etc., etc., and decide what you think you should spend 31 days watching.
Hoping to have a better idea of timeline during the next week or so.The Fourteenth Annual May Make-Your-Own Challengeįor discussion, go to the May 2023 Make-Your-Own Challenge Discussion Thread. I will be doing some BBW comics under the name "Otto Maddox" for them, but to find the continuations of the old series, you'll have to hang on for the new site.
While the old site I worked for retains the old archived comics, my new comics as of July 2011, will no longer be featured on their site. I will also be posting some new series clips in my gallery here soon.įor those wondering, the following series will be carried on the new site:įree of old constraints, I'm hoping to revitalize some of the old comics as well in time. I am hoping to get some samples and tour pages up on the new domain shortly. Well, just wanted to let everyone who follows my work know about it. Same great JAG27 with the same great comic series but on a better designed site for half the price. I'll be updating a new comic a week as always. After a few months when I get my content built up a bit and a decent library going, the final price on the site will be $20 with $15 rebills. Initially it will be only $10 with no rebill option. The site is still in BETA testing, as it will of course be a pay site, but for those of you who follow my work and have been deterred from the old site I worked for because of the ridiculously high price.you will be happy to know the new site price will be way cheaper.
HTTP://[Eyeronik Comics will be the site hosting all new JAG27 comics. JAG27-2012 comics will be hosted on the following site:
